Hello to anyone who views and Happy New Year for 2011! 
I used Apophysis 2.06beta 3D Hack to hack the hell out of "The Light Dome" [link]
I spent about 15 hours all up and the render took 8 hours. Of course the 15 hours includes all versions leading up to the final image, so it does evolve as one is doing it (as you all know too well)!
The image was going to be on the usual black background, but when I decided to check it out on the white, there was no going back. Frame, text, colour and light adjustments in PS Elements.
